Advent Readings

Advent begins on November 29! Can you believe we are already at the point in the year when we prepare our hearts for the celebration of our Lord’s coming?

Advent is a time to celebrate the first coming of Christ, but also to anticipate His coming in glory. To celebrate, I have put together a calendar of readings in chronological order of the prophesies and first coming of Christ. May they be a reminder of the hope we have in God’s faithfulness and provision in all that is to come.

The readings are generally short and appropriate for individuals, families or small groups. There is a one-page calendar and the following pages are the readings which can be cut out and added to any advent pocket calendar (as used by many families). May his hope grow in your hearts during this season of blessings!
