A Prayer for Family Peace

Dear Lord, we bend our knees today to ask for peace within our family. Show us the ways that we may be your arms and words to each other. May we be loving and warm. May we be full of grace and mercy.

Where there is misunderstanding, show us the other point of view.

Where there is judgement, give us to grace.

Where there is pain, open us to forgiveness.

Where there is brokenness, soften our hearts to reconciliation.

Show us how to build relationships established on you, in you and with you. Take away the desire for retribution or revenge and bind our wounds. May there be occasions to break bread and fellowship together in your peace and love. Amen.
