Did God Really Mean it for God?
This message reframes how we see God in suffering: He is not the source of what is against you, but the one working against it. When Joseph says “God meant it for good,” it does not mean God caused the evil, but that He responded to it with a different intention. God did not stop every moment of suffering, but He did not lose—His victory is that evil does not have the final word. And when we begin to see God as present and for us within what we face, trust becomes possible again.
I’m Sarah Howley. I’m an author, speaker, trained Christian counselor, and founder of InspiritEncourage.
My own faith has been strengthened by doubt, and that has made me passionate about helping people grow in a deeper relationship with Christ while navigating the very real tensions of life, faith, and Scripture.
The goal of my work is create a space where everyone in the body of Christ is encouraged to ask honest questions while discovering the great love of God and his trustworthiness.
