A note from Sarah
I know what it’s like to sit in a hard season and hear someone say “just trust God” — and feel absolutely nothing change. I think I felt more failure than anything.
For a long time I wanted to trust God more than I actually did. I believed in Him. I loved Him. But the kind of trust that holds when things are genuinely difficult — the kind that doesn’t white-knuckle its way through but actually rests — that felt out of reach.
Writing this book changed that for me. Not because I found easy answers, but because I went back to Scripture and discovered something I had missed: that trust isn’t just something God asks of us. It’s something He extends to us first. He believes in us. He is genuinely invested in a two-way relationship with us. And once I saw that clearly, everything about how I approach God changed.

I’m Sarah Howley. I’m an author, speaker, trained Christian counselor, and founder of InspiritEncourage.
My own faith has been strengthened by doubt, and that has made me passionate about helping people grow in a deeper relationship with Christ while navigating the very real tensions of life, faith, and Scripture.
The goal of my work is create a space where everyone in the body of Christ is encouraged to ask honest questions while discovering the great love of God and his trustworthiness.
