Meet Sarah
Sarah K. Howley is an author, speaker, trained Christian counselor, and founder of InspiritEncourage. She writes Bible studies that help people grow in a deeper relationship with Christ while navigating the very real tensions of life, faith, and Scripture.
Her work grows out of her own walk of faith — where doubt has strengthened her faith rather than weakened it. Sarah is passionate about creating a safe space where everyone in the body of Christ can ask honest questions while discovering the great love of God and His trustworthiness. She believes the Bible is not something to be mastered, but a place where relationship with God is formed.
She is the author of multiple Bible studies, including I Am, Ephesians: Experience God’s Power, and Our Trustworthy God. Through InspiritEncourage, Sarah creates resources for individuals and small groups who want faith that transforms everyday life.
Sarah and her husband support global initiatives that address hunger and access to reading. She lives and writes with a well-worn Bible nearby and espresso close at hand.
Statement of Faith
I believe in the Trinity.
God exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — three in one, united in love and purpose. He is relational, approachable, and consistent throughout all of Scripture. The way we see Jesus is the way we understand the heart of the Father.
I believe Scripture is inspired and trustworthy, and that God’s intent is clearer than any single translation.
The Bible is God’s inspired Word, revealing His character and His story of redemption.
While Scripture is perfect in its intent, translations are human interpretations shaped by language, culture, and history. Because of this, I approach Scripture with confidence in its message and humility toward its wording — seeking the author’s original meaning, the context of the first hearers, and the consistent character of God rather than the limitations of any one translation.
I believe Jesus Christ is the center of Scripture and the center of our faith.
Jesus is fully God and fully human. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He offers redemption, healing, and restored relationship with God. His character reveals the fullness of God’s heart.
I believe the Holy Spirit transforms us from the inside out.
The Spirit guides, comforts, convicts, and empowers believers. Transformation is not about striving but about allowing the Spirit to shape us through Scripture and relationship with God.
I believe the Church is a community of belonging.
Every person is invited into God’s family — welcomed, valued, and deeply loved. Honest questions are not threats to faith but invitations to deeper understanding and greater clarity. I am committed to cultivating spaces where people from diverse backgrounds and experiences can learn, explore, and grow with respect, humility, and mutual care.
I believe depth is for everyone.
Bible study is not reserved for scholars. Every believer can understand Scripture, connect deeply with God, and live a transformed life. My work is designed to make depth accessible, meaningful, and enjoyable for all.
